Congratulations to Ancaster # 2 – Blue, for their thrilling 5 – 2 win on Tuesday March 20, 2012 over Dundas # 4 – White at Morgan Firestone Arena.
Dundas took a 1 – 0 lead in the first and Ancaster tied it up 1 – 1 in the second. Early in the third, Ancaster went ahead 2 – 1, then Dundas tied it up 2 – 2 with only two and half minutes left in the third.
Thoughts of overtime were looming. Seconds later, Ancaster went ahead 3 – 2 and then scored their final two goals with only seconds left in the game.
Congratulations again to the Ancaster players for their win and also to their coaches, Craig Lypko and Alex Moote for their commitment to their team.
Also, congratulations to all Dundas players for a solid season and to their coaches, Dan Drochner and Bruce Shimoda.
