Backyard Rinks

An entertaining and healthy way to enjoy winter is to build and experience the fun of a rink. There is nothing quite like having your very own backyard ice rink to use whenever you'd like.

The average North American child spends less than 15 minutes per day outside but up to five hours a day playing video games or watching television. That figure is probably even higher in winter. Playing in the winter wonderland is good for our children, helping them stay healthy and fit.

It gets kids and their friends on the ice as many times as they want, it's wonderful exercise and it's absolutely flat out fun.

Plus it gives your kids extra ice-time to practice their skating, shooting and stick-handling, except they'll be having so much fun they won't even realize they are practicing.
