Peewee Teams Win Gold and Silver in Stoney Creek Nov 20, 2011
The Major Peewee AA's captured the gold medal in the Stoney Creek Tournament of Champions by defeating Chatham 4-3 in the final. The championship victory captured a perfect 4-0 weekend for the Avalanche.

The Minor Peewee AA's captured the silver medal losing in overtime 6-5 to the Waterloo Wolves in a barn burning final.

Midget AA's Run for Cancer

The Midget AA team participated in Wellwood’s 13th annual 1K/5K/10K Walk/Run for Colorectal Cancer Awareness on October 16 at McMaster University. Jonathan Rynne blew past the competition, and his team mates, to be the overall winner of the 5K.

Rep Teams Bring Home Tournament Hardware

Our rep teams had great success in several early-bird tournaments on the weekend of September 23-25, 2011.

The Minor Bantam AE's and Major Peewee AE’s captured gold medals in Pittsburgh and Cleveland while the Minor Bantam AA's and Major Atom AA's won silver in Detroit.

The Minor Midget AE’s came in third out of six teams in Orangeville.

The 2011 Hockey Canada AGM has addressed the issue of Head Contact and continued commitment to zero tolerance measures in this area, and has implemented Rule Changes which will come into effect immediately for the 2011-2012 season.

The dream starts now! Give your child a once-in-a-lifetime shot to pit their hockey skills against Canada's most talented juniors (Novice, Atom and Peewee). The top performers from each Qualifying Event will get an opportunity to showcase their skills during the 2012 NHL® All-Star Weekend in the Canadian Tire NHL Juniors Skills™ National Championship in Ottawa January 28 and 29.
