The following positions are up for election at the upcoming Annual General Meeting in June (exact date to be determined): Vice-President, Treasurer, Director of Junior House League, Director of Sponsorship and Publicity, Director of Equipment, Director of Coach and Player Development. House League Coach & Trainer Applications

Candidates interested in being a head coach, assistant coach or trainer in House Leage next season need to email a brief application by May 31, 2012. All assistant coaches in the AMHL will be required to have the same certifications as head coaches for the upcoming 2012/2013 season.

Peewee Flames Capture City Gold, Atom Bruins & Bantam Stars Grab Silver

The Peewee Flames beat Chedoke 4-3 to win the City of Hamilton House League Championship. The Atom Bruins and Bantam Stars came in second while the Novice Senators reached the semi-finals.

Old Hockey Bags and Supplies Needed for D.R.E.A.M.S.

Under the direction of D.R.E.A.M.S. (Dominican Republic Education and Medical Support), the Dunn family would greatly appreciate donations of old hockey bags to transport much needed medical supplies (band aids, polysporin, rubbing alcohol, gauze, medical tape, cotton ball)s and school supplies to the Dominican Republic.

Major Peewee AAs Win Tri-County Championship

The Major Peewee AA's defeated Woolwich by 7-3 score on Monday March 26 on away ice to capture the Tri-County Championship three games to one.

The Minor Peewee AE's defeated Orangeville to win the Tri-County Championship on March 25 while the Minor Bantam AE's beat Stoney Creek to win the Tri-County's on March 20.

New Rules for Head Contact Penalties

The 2011 Hockey Canada AGM has addressed the issue of Head Contact and continued commitment to zero tolerance measures in this area, and has implemented Rule Changes which will come into effect immediately for the 2011-2012 season.
